Ogden Fulfilment’s Recruitment Success at the Keighley Jobs & Training Fair
Ogden Fulfilment, a well-established fulfilment company operating three warehouses and two deep storage sites across Shipley, Keighley and Saltaire attended the second Keighley Jobs & Training Fair organised by SkillsHouse. The event brought together 29 employers and training providers, attracting over 195 jobseekers from the local area.
The company was actively recruiting for warehouse operative roles and needed to connect with reliable, local candidates quickly and efficiently. Traditional recruitment channels had proven time-consuming and less effective in reaching the right audience. By participating in the Keighley Jobs & Training Fair, Ogden Fulfilment gained direct access to a pool of motivated jobseekers. Mark Fletcher, the company’s HR Manager, along with Amanda Lambe, Keighley’s Warehouse Supervisor, engaged with attendees throughout the day, promoting available roles and conducting informal pre-screenings.
The event proved to be a resounding success, with six new warehouse operatives directly recruited through the fair. This helped the company meet its staffing needs promptly and cost-effectively.
